Work on the implementation of the strategy and growth has already started. The interest towards sustainable district heating produced from renewables and local fuels is very high and the customer base of Gren’s district heating is rapidly growing. The company has actively entered a new business line oriented on industries, also known as industrial energy services (IES). Recently Gren finalised the acquisition of a green energy production unit in Riga, Latvia, and is currently in the process of acquiring a district heating business from E energija group in Lithuania. The journey for sustainable success is on.
