Olavi Raunio will join Gren as Head of Nordics
Gren develops and delivers energy solutions ranging from sustainable district heating to industrial energy. Gren is already an established energy supplier in Northern Europe, running approximately 600 km of pipelines under cities in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and the UK and warming nearly 180,000 homes and 600 commercial premises. Gren is currently operating in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

In Nordics, Gren focuses on responding to the transformation of the energy sector. Olavi Raunio will join Gren as Head of Nordics on June 17th, 2024.

Olavi has over 20 years of strong experience and wide expertise in the field of energy and has worked to turn energy more sustainable and cost-competitive through new technologies, concepts, and business models. His strong business acumen and industry knowledge are also combined with leadership expertise, and he will join Gren Group’s Management team.
Before joining Gren, Olavi worked as Vice President of Industrial Sales and Investments at Adven. In prior Adven, Olavi has worked developing energy concepts and projects for forest industries at Pöyry, commercialized biomass gasification technology, set up overseas trading of biomass business between Baltics and Nordics, and expertised in sustainability consulting at WSP. Olavi has a master’s degree in energy and economics.
