Jussi Terho joins Gren as a Head of Procurement on 1^st April 2024. His responsibilities are to develop and execute procurement strategy in alignment with company targets. The first duties are to analyze current procurement processes and practices and define targeted future states for procurement activities at the group and local levels. Jussi will be working in close cooperation with the local procurement professionals and teams.

Acting as procurement process owner, Jussi will also develop procurement policies, categories guidelines, processes, and tools in Gren. Jussi will drive implementation by identifying, evaluating, and fostering partnerships and monitoring market trends, regulatory and industry developments impacting procurement decisions.

Jussi has strong experience in procurement and supply management in the energy sector and chemicals. Jussi has worked for example in Infinited Fiber Company Oy as a Sourcing Manager and Wärtsilä in multiple roles as Category Manager, LNG & cryogenics, and Huhtamäki as a Global Sourcing Manager.

He has excellent experience in the dynamic implementation of strategy and sustainable development. Jussi has a master’s degree in Forest Products Chemistry and an EMBA. Head of Procurement reports to CFO Laura Jauhiainen.
